Cangrejal White Water Rafting (La Ceiba, Honduras)

Enjoy an exciting trip along the turbulent Class III & IV rapids of Cangrejal river. Departing from La Ceiba we head upriver to our rafting put in, while accessing to the unique and amazing set up of this side of Pico Bonito Park that will be our background during the two hours and a half that this unforgettable journey lasts. Rafting tour includes instruction on procedures, security equipment, bilingual professional guide and gear(rafts, paddles, life jackets and helmets).

Participants are invited to a picnic meal at the end of the activity, consisting of some sandwiches, cookies and fruit and soft drink.

      

Departures:                     8:00 am to 1:00 pm  or 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm

Minimum Pax:                 2 persons

Transportation:               La Ceiba - Río Cangrejal - La Ceiba

Equipment:                      Inflatable Raft, Life jackets, helmets, paddles, rescue equipment, 1st Aid Kit, Bilingual Professional Guides, car is always present during trip.

Lunch:                             fruits, ice-tea, purified water

Checklist:

Ø  Tennis shoes or trekking sandals

Ø  Rain jacket (paddle jacket)

Ø  In the rainy season or cold climate (October – March) you should bring a diving suit or a thin fleece

Ø  Shorts, bathing suit and extra dry clothes

Ø  Towels

Ø  Sun glasses

Ø  Repellent and sunscreen

Ø  Hat

Ø  Personal items
